Join CMP facilitator Lisa Sheehan this Spring for an introduction to the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction MBSR program created at UMass Medical School by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. This experiential, introspective program examines the science behind mindfulness, the psychology and physiology of stress, and encompasses a variety of mindfulness techniques, including meditation. Explore how mindfulness supports present moment awareness of sensations, thoughts, and emotions - building internal resources to manage stress and our responses.

No previous experience is necessary to participate in this 6-week Intro to MBSR program. All are welcome. All sign ups are tax deductible and donations tor scholarships are encouraged for those that have the means Nonprofit, healthcare and government workers are encouraged to apply and let us know if a scholarship would be valuable.
